Oh wow, the power bill must be through the roof down there. I know those things burn a lot of freaking electricity, man. Our electricity up here is expensive. I would want to have three of those things running, that's for sure. My parents had one a few years ago, and they weren't a huge fan of us. They had the two hoses, one that brought in air and the other that expelled the hot air that went in the window, and then the machine was just inside the window laying on the floor. It had an exhaust and an intake. Both of those went into a plate, and you put that plate in your window and you put the window down on the plate, and then you spread apart these fins to block the rest of the window. So you had both your exhaust and your intake coming from the window, which was good, because you didn't have to run any separate hoses through the house or anything like that. They weren't really a fan. As a matter of fact, I probably should get that off of next year, because if you're not using it, you may as well use it. But my place here stays relatively cool because it's a basement apartment, right? It's not like a dark old basement like you'd think in a finished apartment. And I like it. I've been here now ten years, and I really like it. My parents have got the place upstairs, so that allows me to reset.
