KJ5 IOK. Yes they are. I've been looking for those headsets for gosh, six months. I let my kids use them a year or so ago with their Xboxes and I haven't seen them since. Well my boys both decided, I think it wasn't them. I think it was their girlfriends. Anyhow, the rooms were clean. Strange. If you have teenage boys, you know that normally they don't clean. Anyhow, they cleaned the night before last Sunday night. I don't know why, but both boys ended up cleaning their rooms top to bottom. And lo and behold, I woke up and my headset was sitting on my desk. So I'm excited. I'm using them right now. I'm using the DV switch mobile app on my phone with All-Star right now because the microphone with the headset is supposed to work. I think it is. Honestly, I tried testing it yesterday evening with the parent node and I really couldn't tell. I'd walk away and walk back to it. But I think it's working. And the audio is great because it's always canceling and all that fancy stuff. And I didn't realize it, but I updated the firmware on them yesterday and now they work with my digital assistant on my phone. So all I have to do is push a button on them. MyChat's EBT, personal assistant, which I usually use, works for me real quick. So that's pretty cool. So yeah, while everybody in the world seems to be celebrating Taylor Swift and Travis or Jason Kelsey, I forget which one. Their engagement, trust me, my wife and daughter are all over that crap. They are what you would call Swifties. It's kind of sad and pathetic. It makes me want to gag. But they like it, so whatever. That's all I've heard since yesterday. Taylor Swift's getting married. Shoot, I even got on Facebook this morning. I'm like, I'm going to get on Facebook and see what's going on. I never get on Facebook. Every dang feed on there is either false advertisement or Taylor Swift. So I got right back off of that too. Thank goodness for my Discord server where I can block crap like that. As you all can tell, I'm being a little funny about it. I think it's funny how the whole world stops because one girl and one guy decided to get married. It's crazy. Anyhow, positive stuff. I'm really excited to have my headset. You know what I did yesterday evening? I was going to wait until this weekend, but I did it last night. I use a note-taking app called Obsidian. I don't know if anybody's familiar with it. It's kind of a coding, genre-y style note-taking app, but it's really powerful. It has crap-tons of plugins. I set up a sync server on my personal server so I don't have to pay those jokers like $5 or $8 a month for it to sync. I think I timed out. Sorry. I think I did time out. Maybe. Anyhow, I'll tell you more about the Obsidian thing later, but it's really fascinating because now I have it. Other than the audio capture, all I have to do is hook up the audio capture pipeline, and I can actually transcribe every one of our nets into a note that's been searchable, which I thought would be really cool.
