Yeah, wow. We're practically the same age. I'm 16 years old, still in school, and I'm super fascinated with this whole server stuff, and I'd love to talk about that. Yeah, I'm currently running. My entire ham radio setup is up in my treehouse. So I have a 4 foot tall server rack with a bunch of Enterprise Dell PowerEdge servers. I think one of them has like 256 gigabytes of RAM, and I use that for some cloud storage, and I host a game server for like a thousand people. A funny thing, I had to run like 125 feet of Ethernet cable just to get wired Internet up here for the server. So yeah, what's your rig that you're using for your like home lab stuff? I'm using a lot of machines. Mostly Raspberry Pis are in the rack. I'm using a Raspberry Pi to get an alternate link. I did post a YouTube video yesterday about my radio rack on my YouTube channel. I got that through my call sign which is VA3FBN at the dot CA at the end. There should be a link in there to my YouTube and the speed tour of the radio rack. It's nothing special. It's just a CB radio, a Kenwood and a power supply in a Raspberry Pi. But in the home lab there's a Pi rack with around three Raspberry Pis, one is for home assistant. The other one is an ad guard, ad locker. And the other one is just a spare one. I was thinking of moving my website onto there. I am local hosting my website. I'm using a Dell EMC server. I don't remember what model but it is a PowerEdge. And that's on Proxmox hosting free PBX for my phones that I have around. I have a bunch of Cisco Voight phones. And also the website. And I don't remember the specs of it though. But yeah, that's what I'm using it for. I also have a Cisco switch in there that's 24 port. It's a 2960X. It was a really new model of Cisco switch that was running in there. It required a license and the license got pricier and pricier the more that I had on the rack. So I decided to pull it out and put it up on eBay and made my money back to get the license. But I'm using a TP-Link ER605 VPN dual WAN router. And also a Raspberry Pi which is an OEM controller for the TP-Link router.
