California, you have moisture that's circulating around the low that's off the coast and you have the high pressure still sitting over the desert southwest and the two counteracting flows, the moist sub-tropical flow coming around that low and that in a counterclockwise fashion and the clockwise flow around that high, that's pulling that moisture up. So that's why you're getting some overcast. It might feel a little muggier than normal and the high is actually going to move a little further west today and by tomorrow I think it's going to be sunnier and it could be hotter because that high moves west.
