doing playing with a friend is really the best way to get better. Playing with other people just brings out the creativity and the spirit and the music. You have someone to bounce it off of. I could practice what I do. Four to six hours a day generally using a audio file. It's not the same fun or intensity or improvement that I get when I'm actually rehearsing with the band.
