And one of the prevailing theories for the dimming had to do with material passing in front of the star. Another theory suggests that the cycle was a result of alien megastructure orbiting the star in the form of a dyson swarm. A dyson swarm is a hypothetical semblance of orbiting solar panels. In a concept originated with physicist Freeman Dyson. He envisioned that the structure would be able to harvest the star's energy for advanced civilization. Just dropping. More likely, the dimming is a product of an uneven dust ring around the star. And this is what was published in the After-Pillable Journal back in 2017. And the dust ring is a good explanation for a long-term dimming, but it doesn't explain the short term. So, there are no further ahead really. So, they really don't know as of yet what's going on with the dimming there.
