Well, I Got up fairly early kind of beat the heat. I don't think I'm going to be successful at that My project for this week is okay. So my new car my IKEA new row easy I Have purchased a little lip mount antenna mount and where I'm going to mount this is on the Rear of the Hood the engine hood. I've got a perfect place for it gonna hook it on there today. I My plan is to put the main part of the radio For the antenna the antenna cable would only be about a meter or so and then very close to the power for the battery and I'm going to put the transceiver unit the main unit in a some kind of metal enclosure and Fortunately, there's a lot of room within the front area to put that but I got it kind of carefully engineered so that it's You know securely mounted and away from this and away from that and keeps the water out and keeps the airflow in a lot of things to deal with and then I figured all that figured out then of course, I've also got to figure out how to get the Cabling through the firewall into the passenger compartment. So kind of taking it slowly step by step today today I'm going to mount the antenna and Temporarily have a transceiver in the cabin That I can check a few things out with so I've got some communication ability beyond having an HT which actually does not work out so well So That's my plan for today And as I say I'm trying to beat the heat but I lose some battle on that because it's getting warm already The Sun is certainly out for sure k7 cei
