Unlike the other bright planet, Saturn is a chewy to the eye alone. It's the hardest bright planet to recognize, but the moon is a handy tool. But for Saturn, near the moon on August 29th and 30th and 2026th, and it'll be near the full moon again on September 27th. And every month it is visible. To find Saturn, near the moon and the response of the year, except what it is behind the sun. Visit Earth's skies, Night Sky, Guide. Okay. Saturn, closest brightest and opposite the sun. The best time of year to see an outer planet, like Saturn, or the months around that planet's yearly opposition. That's when Earth is between the sun and the outer world.
