through our area a couple of months ago and I wanted to be prepared and then I joined the local group and everybody seemed pretty cool so I kind of wanted to work towards getting my license and then maybe go for my general from there. I just got my call sign today. Well, you are really brand new then. I was wondering why it was showing up under QRZ yet so it will take a couple days and then you can check that out but very cool and add your email address on there so if people want to tell you about something or link something to you they have a way to get a hold of you so otherwise they can't just talking but we're here to check out the absolutetech.org website and we have lots of other nets. Are you using Echo Link? How are you hooking up?
