Hey, good evening everybody. I hope everyone is doing well for this evening. Looks like the sun is down and we're finally getting some relief from the heat. It's been a strange weekend for me. I've been in this group chat with two other friends of mine. Ever since I moved to Seattle I met these two guys and they've been my best friends ever since. We've been talking almost daily for like 12 years. One of the guys sort of dropped out, like what's going on? Where is he? Well, I don't know, I just started thinking about it on Friday afternoon, going what's going on? This isn't right. He wasn't responding to phone calls or texts, so I started calling hospitals. Yeah, I found him. I got in contact with his family who has been in Seattle for the past two weeks. He's in end of life care. So I've been spending the weekend at the hospital hanging out with him. He has this extremely rare disease, which is why they didn't think to even diagnose him or even think about it. It's called calciflexis. It's like when the calcium in your body starts to build up, sort of like plaque throughout your veins and your arteries and capillaries. It basically slowly kills you. I'm going to break for a second.
