Alrighty folks, this is KN9W and we're about to start the slow scanning portion of the Sunday Night Net. What we do is we send out a picture over the airwaves. We send it via a slow scan format I guess you'd call it. Basically it demods it and for end it remods it. So we send a picture and it's a classic concentration puzzle. So once you decode it and take a look at it, we ask that you try to figure out the puzzle and email us your answer. You can send that answer to puzzle at sundaynightnet.org. Puzzle at sundaynightnet.org. And we will tell you the next week who got it right. Speaking of that, last week's answer was Tornado Alley. Tornado Alley. Who got it right? Well, Paul got it, TGPBJ. Wade got it, N4LRK. Dad and Deb got it, KI4DQP. Dale got it, N5EIA. Dennis and June got it, KW4AG. Bob got it, K04DXQ. And Matt got it, AR4FQP. That was not a super hard one. This one, maybe I'm wrong but I think you guys are going to have a hard time with this one. We will be sending Martin 2. That is the mode. And if you ever have any questions about how this software works, well I can't tell you how it works, but I can tell you how to help you get it set up. The software is free if your radio looks to your computer or if you have a smartphone. The smartphone apps. Just get on your app store and look for SSTV. And you'll find a plethora of apps that can decode this sound. You can hold that phone up to the speaker or the radio and get a passable picture. Let it drop.
