And this repeater has been on the air since, for 54 years, since 1972. Yeah, this repeater went on the air two years after I got my first hammer radio license. And in net controllers, I'd say this to people, new operators. Nothing builds confidence on the air like being a net control operator. It's a test of fire, but it's like getting rid of your stage fright. After you've done it for even a little bit, just a few weeks, not even. After the first few nets, you're way more confident than the beginning. So I recommend that people look like you really want to.
