I've had the contacts to the Ego State and out west. I don't think I've had any out of the country with that particular radio. But the fact that I have had sideband phone contacts on that phone is amazing. Now I am using the wire antenna. When I've had contact, I'm using E for whatever it is, 78 foot, N-fed wire. But it always impresses me. It always surprises me that it works. A lot of them have hardly audio on sideband. If you use the external mic that comes with them, or they get RF into the mic, into the audio circuit, a lot of them are poorly built. But when you get work, you got to take advantage of it. And I'm going to take it with me on the next motorcycle trip. You know, I've done a couple of these trips this year. Well, really, the past few weeks, but I have not done an overnight stay yet this year.
