Km1x, this is KJ5 IRQ. Okay, I'm on the side of the parents and the kid just saying that out right. I mean, the bully got us just desserts. But I thought it would be fun to have AI act as a judge. So I prompted a chat CPT. I said, I want you to act as a judge. That is your role. A mom and a dad put laxative inside of a cupcake for their son because the son's bully kept taking his lunch. The little boy took the cupcake to school but did not give it to the bully. The bully stole it out of the kid's lunch, ate it and crapped his pants. Who's liable? Alright, so Judge Chat CPT says the facts that are presented are the parents knowingly put laxatives inside of a cupcake. The child didn't offer it to the bully and the bully did take it without consent, ate it and then suffered the consequences. So when you look at the legal angles and it spells it all out, the likely outcome is the parents would be held liable. It actually says the bully's an ass but the parents crossed the line. They would likely be found liable for the consequences of the cupcake trap because they intentionally created harmful food. Even though the bully stole it, it was reasonably foreseeable and courts do not allow for private citizens to dose others with drugs. Now the bully might bear some fault for stealing if it went to a civil court. Comparative fault might reduce damages to 50-50 depending on the jurisdiction. Now the original kid that was being bullied, he would be in the clear. According to Chat CPT, take that for what you will. That's a fun ending to this net. KJ5IL2 sending it back to KM1X73 and have a great Saturday.
