Well, because they're in a bad way. Yeah, it's kind of like a Reader's Digest fable, but it's hardly untrue, right? If the owner dies, they're in a bad way. And the thing is they don't have a way to kick their way out of the window and out to freedom, so they have a choice to kind of suffer alive or try to do something about it. I don't know, that's if they're intelligent at all. Because remember, ungulates, they'll sit and burn up alive and not try to get away when the barn's burning up. Cows are like that to a certain extent, cattle is like that to a certain extent. You're eating the meat of a thing that's too dumb to run when the barn's on fire. So I mean, that's one aspect, but the other aspect is, well, for a dog, for a cat, of course, if they're any kind of smart, they know for sure they're in a bad way. Well, yeah, when their owner dies on them, they're in a terrible way.
