Funny fact is that often times when I chat with them and tell them what I do in aviation, many of them were oppositely jealous of one another. I of course want to fly something big and heavy and they of course want the freedom of going into a back country airstrip with cool stuff in the back of their plane. But a couple of comments on this. One thing I do often as an instrument rated pilot, I will foreflight offers you an option where you can type in the flight number and basically get the exact flight plan on foreflight and I'll sit there in flight with the same plan that they filed which is never the actual route they fly and it gets shortcuts and things all the time which changes it. But then the fun game is trying to figure out where are we going direct to now.
