FM, but I had to change frequencies quite often because the stations fade out pretty quick. So you got and then I could switch over to AM and sometimes then get a station there. Also around here in Cincinnati they got WLW which is heard just about every place around it used to be and they could hear it overseas even when they started out. They had such a high powered station but they could tell that pretty much. But there again for safety purposes I think that is very useful even if you listen to other stuff. But when you're out on a road driving and you know some bad weather or whatever the case may be that helps out to let you know where to go or what to get off or such and such. As far as UHF.
