two valuable accosmonaut to lose, so they didn't let him fly any longer. With that, many historical space accounts give you Yuri Gagarin in a paragraph or two, but Garmont T. Dauff is lucky to be granted one short sentence, that sentence being the second man in space. But now we know the story behind that sentence. History members, maybe Yuri was the first person to pass through the door from the earth into space, but tonight we got a chance to focus on the second person who expanded the boundaries of human limits. Garmont T. Dauff, the second man to pass through the door, and stay long enough to experience a little more of what was waiting on the other side.
