I'm going to throw on a headset and sit outside on the deck with a nice big blunt. And I'm going to have a time of it. I'm going to catch you back in. They were all at, well, Soso didn't go out. She seldom does in the mornings, but Shadow and Dewey are both passed out. They were out for a couple hours this morning. I don't hear any chirping in the backyard, so I'm guessing Shadow took care of business. He's got a direct problem with birds in the yard. He hasn't murdered so many this year, either that or they all had a shared feast in the backyard. My dad actually told me that he looked out the window, or he was out on the deck a couple of weeks ago, and his cat and Shadow were both sharing a bird in the backyard. They were playing with it until it was finished, and then they both had a little taste each. And needless to say, there wasn't very much left to the bird when they were done. I think maybe a beak and some tail feathers. It's what Dad said. There wasn't much left over. They gave it a pretty good beak, and then they enjoyed a meal together, just like brothers should do.
