Hey Dave, we were down in your area last week. My wife and I spent four nights at the Cold Springs Guard Station in Oshkaw National Forest. It is beautiful out there, but in that 90 year old cabin, we sure heard some strange sounds at night. Oh man, sometimes you couldn't tell if it was in the attic, the walls, or the crawl space. Anything from chewing to tearing to footsteps. Well, the first night I thought we'd made a terrible mistake, but we stayed there four nights and really enjoyed it. I think the highlight of the trip was going to the Wolf Mountain Fire Lookout right next to the wilderness area there. Beautiful country, glad we went down there. KK7 STQ back to control.
