This rise time of Neptune this week at about 9, 12 p.m. So just three minutes earlier than Saturn making Neptune and Saturn fairly making Neptune a little bit easier target to spot. Neptune as you can find Neptune low to the east in the late evening leading Saturn by just a few minutes all month. Neptune is in the constellation of Pisces shining at magnitude 7.7. There's a full seven magnitudes of difference between Saturn and Neptune. You'll definitely need a scope to find Neptune. It makes it fairly easy since Neptune is sitting just about one degree above Saturn. So if you find Saturn move about two full moon widths just above Saturn and you should be able to see a little bluish dot with a hint of green in it. So a kind of a bluish green mostly blue that will be Neptune and you should see a discernible disk with that plant. The rings of Saturn are nearly edge on so you'll see a dark line right across the planet. You might be able to see some of the rings but it's going to be tricky to spot that one for sure. It's moved slightly off of it. You won't see the big much detail in the ring just because we're seeing it right off edge on but definitely two objects well worth pointing a telescope towards for sure late in the evening.
