My Zenith tabletop radio is actually a shelf top. I stuck it on top. I have this drawing table workspace and it's got a bunch of shelves. And I put that radio there so I can marvel at it. It doesn't work. The guy told me he knows that. He says inside you see one of the capacitors has cracked or burst. So I don't know. At some point I might get up the gumption to take a look at this radio. I've seen people fix computers with just a volt meter and a logic probe. You don't even need an oscilloscope half the time. So maybe I'll do just that. I'll look at that capacitor. Look if I can get a replacement. Look at how hard it would be to fix it. I have no idea what's inside there. I've worked with tubes before. When I was a kid in high school I did the electronics class and it was all tubes. We built all sorts of tube type radios. So it would be fun to take a look in there and see what's happening. I looked on the internet and there's no schematics, no pictures, no nothing of this radio. It's quite a mystery. I'm going to have to take some pictures and try to update some of those sites in there. At any rate, it's a wonderful radio. I like just looking at it. It's the beauty of its time.
