And let's see, while I was on, so I guess it counts as short wave, but I was actually on my hand radio and transmitting back and forth, so having a communication with this guy from my backyard with a guy pole and tenor hanging on some bird feeder hooks at about seven and a half feet, I was able to talk to a guy in Australia, which was amazing to me with 100 watts. So, yeah, I really enjoy short wave and I love listening to the DX, and since I used to be an Arabic linguist, I always enjoy it when I can find Arabic stations, though that's rare, and I used to be able to hear more from Colorado, interestingly enough, than I can from here in Illinois, just strange the way the DX works like that. And I wish I knew Spanish, because boy, let me tell you, you know, I took a couple of years of Spanish in high school, it didn't do me good, but if I knew Spanish, I would have a lot more choices when it comes to Australia, because there are a ton of Spanish language stations that I can get here.
