Good evening Joan and everyone on the net. This is James here outside of Detroit, beautiful city of Livonia. I messaged our club president about seeing if we could link up, of course, his response was, well they got a link to us. I'm like, oh God, one of those things where they don't know what's going on. But, interesting thing, I found out that DX Engineering has a plate that I think will work with my 25 foot mast that I'm going to install 5 foot into it to let it fold down. And it just so happens that the price was pretty good. What did I do tonight? Oh, yeah, I finally went and trimmed the ground wires from the Blitzbug to the grounding rod. But I also grounded the mast to the same grounding rod on that. But the interesting thing was, and it was telling me that conditions were pretty good, is on our local repeater frequency, there's always one in Holman, Michigan. And the one I heard tonight, which is roughly about 500 miles away by driveways, not by crow flies, but here in Pennsylvania, I was able to hear them, and I believe I was even able to key them up. I just had to take off the 100 hertz PL that opens up our local repeater. But other than that, not much going on. I still haven't gotten off my butt for these two 706s I need to sell in the Viroflex key. I'd better get that done tomorrow. I have a planned visit to Cocoa Beach next month, get away for three days. The trip and car rental and all that, just the car rental and the flight down came to about $110 total, so I was quite happy with that. I mean, the car rental on a Toyota RAV4 was like $36. I couldn't pull out my debit card quick enough. So back to you, W8WW.
