Well Kevin, he tried, he tried really hard. He went to self-help groups and went and saw a psychiatrist and attended weekend retreats called Bugs Are Our Friends. But no matter what, he just couldn't deal with his fear. So eventually he gave up. The outdoors was simply not big enough for both him and the Bug Kingdom. And so he stocked up his fridge and got snacks and bought a big screen TV and turned to National Geographic Films, you know, the perfect setup where he could enjoy nature but not worry about the bugs or pity. Even the bugs on TV gave him no heebie-jeebies.
