The next thing we have here, I'm not sure any ham radio tie-ins specifically, but September 5 through 7 is the Wooden Boat Festival over in Port Townsend. I've not been to that myself but I drove by it while it was happening and I was really upset that I didn't have the time to stop and go check it out. So I'm going to see if I can try to do that this year. So anyway, yes, September 5 through 7 in Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival. Coming up here we also have the Rally on October 4. It's the Tour de Forest ARA Rally. I don't have much more information on that although I think this link on the Facebook page is clickable, but I will leave it to you others to go head over to that and click it yourself. But that's all the information I got there. But October 4 there will be Rally. All right, coming up here also on October 5 now, it's a Sunday, there is one remaining of the ham program being hosted by Cascadia Radio. So more information can be found over at hamconnect.org. And everything after that is much ahead of the future and just some holidays. So I'm just going to wrap up the notes right there. I'm going to go ahead and send it back to my, I guess, or let me just reset and I'll give my own checking here in a second. So yes, I'm Brian, KTH. My QTH is up here in Marysville, Washington. I had a great weekend. I played with this band, they are called Side One. And it's basically a group of musicians and lots of backup musicians and they do a cover band of sorts. And they will learn special songs and music, and of course play all the wedding classics and all that good stuff. And so basically their request for the wedding last night was very heavy in country music and they had never actually had a fiddle player to join them. So I played in a country band with the drummer and the bass player some years back. So I got invited to go and do that. And so yeah, we played last night, played the ceremony itself, just me and the guitar player did the ceremony. And then the full band played for two and a half hours or so until about 11 p.m. last night into the evening. And yeah, it was quite the success. Very, very talented musicians, fun group of people. We're talking, you know, sometimes you're doing this and you're spending all day. I mean, I got picked up to go to the Anacortes Ferry at 7 a.m. and then of course we stayed the night there, got home about 2 p.m. today. But yeah, a good group of people and yeah, well received. Oh yeah, it was up at Roche Harbor there. We took the ferry up through Friday Harbor. And yeah, it was very, very, like the weather held out. It was like perfect, not too hot, very humid, but didn't rain on us and it was a good time there. Not much else to say about that other than glad to be back, getting ready for work this week. My mother-in-law is showing up tomorrow. We'll be picking her up when we reset.
