This is KK7, Fox Kilo Bravo, Tree reporting live from Seattle on 5W once again. Yeah, I just wanted to toss out some information about the Seattle GNU Linux Conference, which is happening this November 7th and 8th at the University of Washington. If you cannot attend in person, it will also be broadcast streamed online. So yeah, free software, open source software, free as in speech, not as in beer. Unfortunately, it would be great if it was free as in beer, but it's free as in speech. I really enjoy these open source conferences, particularly this one being the local one that's just down the street from my house. I don't know if I'm speaking this year actually. I did submit a proposal for a talk, which was the Introduction to Network Programming. But they haven't yet announced what talks they've selected yet. They're a little bit behind. But it's a really great conference. There's free snacks and food and lots of people who want to talk about really just taking control of your life through taking control of the machines that you use every day. And you don't even have to sign up or register. You just come as you are. So you are your identity and your privacy are completely your own. You decide your level of engagement. But yeah, it's a wonderful thing. I love being a part of the community and I would love to bring in new people and I'd love to see all of you there. So that's my spiel. With that, I will send it back to all of you. Take care. Good evening. KK7SKB. Back to Matt. Well, Tri, thank you for making us aware of that. I know you had last year. And I know Rich has talked about it. Well, I know he's talked to you about Linux and I'm pretty sure he's been to that conference. He may come back and tell us a little more. Tri, can you give us a good reliable way to find out more info? Is it a website or something you can direct us to? Yes, of course. Thanks for having me. Yes, it is. This is Schole.org S-E-A-G-L.org. Back to you, KK7SKB. S-E-A-G-L.org. Wonderful. Thank you. I think like a lot of hams who've fooled around with digital voice modes and stuff and Reserae Pi, I've been exposed to Linux. I know the very most basics, but I still don't get it. And just the other day I decided, well, this year I'm going to try and really get it. I set up one of those, what do you call it, NotebookLM, which is that branch of Gemini that lets you have an AI system that only looks at vetted information. And I threw a bunch of Linux links into it and I'm going to use it to be my Linux tutor. So I might actually get there on November 7th and 8th and learn something. Well, thanks so much, Tree, for bringing us up to date on that. Jack, how are you doing this evening? KI7RMU, come ahead.
