Hello there Bill and Rich and everybody out there tonight. This is Joan, KX2CW. Just looking out from my window here at the Capitol Hill Behavioral Observatory, it has been more quiet than it has been. I think I've heard a rumor that SPD might be cracking down on some of the more extreme behaviors here. Mostly, the thing that has been most striking is the seeming absence of the thunder trunks. I call them that, the car-sized subwoofers on wheels that go until 4 o'clock in the morning. I've heard the scuttlebutt friends and fellow residents talking in the lobby that there has been a group of them taking over the intersection of Broadway Avenue and East Pike Street. They park in the middle lane and then spread out and end up completely blocking that intersection, which I've been missing. I can't quite see the intersection from my window. I can see right to the edge of it, but it's right there. Anyway, that's interesting. I've been rearranging things. I've got a wheeled dolly for my mixer, which looks much nicer. You can see the floor and everything.
