I would say that yes, looking at the data over the last 15, look I've been looking at hurricanes in detail for 20 years now and more than 20 years now and I can tell you that in the last 10 years I've definitely noticed some changes as far as the rate of intensification in the Atlantic basin and in the last 5 years the fact that we're seeing more of these hurricanes visibly explode in short order is a little concerning but it is in line with warmer ocean temperatures and low shear environments and that is traditionally what has happened when they've exploded like super typhoon tip which is argued to be there's still an argument as to whether it is or was the strongest tropical system ever recorded in the satellite era because there aren't reconnaissance, there aren't hurricane hunters flying around out in the Pacific so we don't have the same sampling of data but we've seen the same conditions where we have a huge pocket of very hot water and low shear and then boom you have a tropical system explodes in it it's just that those conditions were less common in the Atlantic basin and they've become increasingly more common so you know yeah it is concerning and I would say yeah we have seen a trend where these storms are intensifying and they're also holding on to their intensity more greatly as they head further north so Atlantic Canada which for them a hurricane is nothing like what a hurricane is in the tropics you know they're now getting closer to this precipice where it's sort of is it's not there yet but in the next 10 years you know the palm trees might be blowing in the wind in St. John's sort of how they would blow in Miami not to the same degree but they would get more true hurricane conditions as opposed to you know like nor'easter type conditions I'll send it back to you Ken
