Well this one is a very fancy name for medicinal use of leeches. And we still use them. We do not often still use medicinal leeching. And they're great for a couple of things. One is if you have hemotomas we have bleeding under the skin, again you can extract it through a needle. Once you alter the leech on it, a couple of leeches on it, it will extract the blood. And what's good about that too is leeches, their saliva has an anticoagulant in it. So as they're extracting the blood, it's not clotting under the skin. So they get most of it out. And also in microsurgery, they sometimes use them in microsurgery. And the same thing with the saliva. When you get down into those really, really small blood vessels, they can be prone to that blood clot. So get some leeches in there, and their saliva will help during the surgery to keep blood clots out of these little vessels as they're being repaired. So here it is happening, the medicinal use of leeches.
