K9MLR, Golf 7 Yankee, Mike, Thanksgiving in August sounds like a great idea and then have Thanksgiving in November again too. How about that? I had some chicken yesterday. We had some leftover barbecue chicken and I thought, hey, I'm going to make some mashed potatoes with that because we get a lot of rice in my family. And I'm like, ah, it's my little mini Thanksgiving dinner. I should have made some stuffing too. That would have been fun. At any rate, there's lots of nice easy hikes around Rainier. I think everyone thinks of summiting that thing, but no, apparently there's plenty of nice fun hikes around the base. So enjoy that. I'm sure you'll see lots of goodies out there.
