They looked a lot like plants in krenoites, these are sea lilies. And after the warming, oxygen events, the once dominant groups were almost completely wiped out only a proxy, one half of them all, including plants and snails disappeared. Survivors went into a wet log to dominate the ocean and these included starfish and sea urchins. That's the ocean.
