She has a bunch of cousins that live down in Oregon that she's close with. So her and her sister met in the middle in Olympia where her folks live and they're hanging out down there. So it's just me and the girls. We took it easy today. I think we just were worn out from the week. We had a slow start to the morning. I made French toast and that was delicious. And then when the sun came out in the afternoon we just spent the rest of the day outside in the backyard. I did some work in the garden and the girls did some art projects. And then after dinner we took the dog for a long walk in the woods. It was quite delightful. In keeping with the French connection that's going on tonight. Tomorrow my girls convinced me we're going to try to make macarons. This will be our first attempt at this. They've been wanting to do it for a while.
