It's said here on the history channel that George Washington bought a mechanic ice cream maker for his estate in Vermont in 1784. And that was kind of the beginning of making ice cream in the United States, I guess, or something like that. However, the ice cream maker was not actually invented until 1843 by a Nancy Johnson according to the history. So I mean, there's a lot of conflict, okay? But what we're going to talk about now is why I kept saying fake or real ice cream. Usually it's real simple. If the legal definition is what I used for ice cream, there we go.
