but here I was and it's sort of desperate to get on 40 meters and the one thing I did have was a spool of solder and I thought I wonder if I could make a 40 meter dipole out of solder. The short version of the story is that I attempted it. It was a complete object failure. The dip that I got down to a little over two to one was on like six point or five point eight megahertz or something and then I tried to shorten it and that's why we just got worse and I was getting attacked by mosquitoes. It was dark and I just gave up but my question I guess how ridiculous of an idea was that and has anyone ever done that and then I have a follow-up back to you 87x. Well it seems like on five watts you might be okay.
