around the house are pretty much undesirable for deer, so they leave them alone. But the garden is a different story. The fence doesn't keep out the rodents, you know? By the rodents, I mean the squirrels. And I suppose I should include in that the raccoons, foxes, and jackrabbits. I did a late summer, well, mid summer, I guess, planting a couple of weeks ago to try to get some late season melons going, and they sprouted. And a couple days later, all the little seedlings had been eaten off of the ground by the rabbits. So nice of you to make a rabbit buffet for them. Yeah, I'm going to have to figure out how they're getting in and do something.
