beater things out of the beater, the little metal things that would whip up the frosting. And boy, that was a treat when she'd hand it over. And I would sit down on the floor and kind of take the tongue and just lick the beater. And our pup at the time, our dog would come over and just get the other side. I think we still have a picture of that floating around with the dog. Before long, tongue is reaching all the way through trying to get as much of that chocolate frosting that she could before I could get any. Oh, man, I can just picture that. How hysterical. Oh, yes, people would gasp and clutch their pearls now at the thought of a dog having chocolate. Apparently, it's not as poisonous as it's been made out to be, but still not a good idea. But I don't think that the dog got much of a beater that was going to hurt him.
