to ask, which is you have a character, you want them to have some conflict or other. Now, having conflicts is fine. All of us have them. We have stuff we don't want to do, we have stuff we're afraid of, we have post-traumatic stress disorder, we have, you know, all kinds of things going on. Trick is, how do you write about somebody, not yourself, that's got something like this without making them look like a spoiled little brat. And, I mean, I have fought this little problem for years and I've got another one that is looking like a spoiled little brat and I'm like, oh, wait a minute, this started out a really good story and it's disintegrating because he's acting like a two-year-old. I don't need any, I mean, I'm too old to have two-year-olds in my life anyway, unless they're, you know, cute.
