to ask, which is you have a character, you want them to have some conflict or other. Now having conflicts is fine. All of us have them. We have stuff we don't want to do, we have stuff we're afraid of, we have post-traumatic stress disorder, we have all kinds of things going wrong. Trick is how do you write about somebody, not yourself, that's got something like this without making them look like a spoiled little brat. And I mean, I have fought this little problem for years and I've got another one that is looking like a spoiled little brat. And I'm like, wait a minute, this started out a really good story and it's disintegrating because he's acting like a two year old. I don't need any, I mean, I'm too old to have two year olds in my life anyway, unless they're, you know, cute.
