the radios that go out across the ground but I'm not using a spike or anything like that. The reason I asked was those spikes can really affect your ground function. I guess I'd be playing with the overall length of the horizontal wire and seeing if maybe taking, you know, just taking two feet and folding it back on itself would help a lot of the radios out. I think it's got to do with the length of your horizontal wire and needs to change a bit. Yeah, I'll keep playing around with it. It could be a hiccup with the radio I'm using too. I'm using Shigu. It seems to be working really well on other bands but when I get the 40 meters there's just this one spike in the SWR.
