I think for weapons, I was interested, my first wife got me involved. She really liked them. Back then I got the first one I've ever owned, which was a 38. It looked almost like an old Kalish revolver, but it had an extra long barrel on it. It was like six inches, and it was really accurate. I had shot 22 rifles before in the Boy Scouts, but I never owned one until then. And that was a nice gun, and I didn't even get a concealed weapons permit back then, because it never was with me. Except I was allowed to, because if it was in a zipper case or a holster, you could keep it in the car, but you couldn't carry it without the permit. Years later I ended up getting a concealed weapons permit. But I won't say whether I carry or not, because the training I got, they teach that...
