You actually gave me enough time to even get my coffee out of the kitchen. Firstly, the mountain is out, but I have to first enter, open close enough to hear it. I have to enter my path code. And then access granted. And the easiest way to get it in scan mode is to just press the center button, which puts it into prop mode. And then I can, it's a shortcut, it's not the only way, but it's the shortcut to get to the scanner mode. Ah yes, this is definitely a primitive form of communication that I believe they refer to as ham radio. Yeah, I'm glad you like the tricorder. You know, the background on that is that more than five years ago, I think it was, they announced it in 2019, and that they were going to do this project. This is the wand company in the UK who started out, strangely enough, making a, they got a bright idea to make, what if we could fit the electronics for remote control into a Harry Potter magic wand. And so they're like us, they're electronic geeks, and they made it, and prototyped it, and then they, I want to see what kind of market there was, so I get people to sign up for it, and they got hundreds and hundreds of people to wand in one. And so that's been their MO. So they will announce, and they'll make enough for everyone who wanded one, plus some extras, and then they're out. They aren't anymore. And so they have made three different versions of Doctor Who's magic wand, I mean Sonic's screwdriver. And they have previously designed the best phaser and communicator. And the communicator, for instance, which came with the last project they did for Star Trek, for the Star Trek franchise, which is, should I say, the last hero prop, is an actual Bluetooth, you know, transceiver, and you could actually flip it, and it goes ch-ch-ch-chirp, and you could answer your phone with it, and then hang up your phone by flipping it closed, okay? And then by this time they have stopped thousands of people lining up for these things. And so this was the different, they announced it in 2019, it was either the end of 2019 or the first part of 2020, and they published the sign-up, the waiting list. And I might have been in the first 200 people, I'm not sure, it was very near the beginning, and then the pandemic hit. And it was holding up the float to take a couple of years, got bogged down, finally got them done at the worst possible time. And because of certain political circumstances, also in the US the price was horribly inflated. But my two choices were, yes, I get the invitation to order it, and I had two choices, order it, or forever say goodbye to the idea of ordering one. So I've talked long enough, KXTCW back to you now. Alright John, well yeah, I think you were just lucky to get one for having the interest in it, so far ahead of actual delivery and all that, and development, yeah, it's a really fun little device, that's neat. Alright, well let's see, hey, I was going to say, what was I going to say, oh yes, in the latest episode, well I notice now one episode ago on the latest Star Trek Strange New World show, that they apparently are not even going to complete a whole season of it, shut that down apparently, but a Klingon character says pass me the tri-quarter, huh? Okay, so apparently the Klingons have tri-quarters too, but it's their version of it, of course, not the Federation version of the tri-quarter, but it's kind of neat, but I was really surprised by that. Anyway, and I'm sure that will happen at some point. Anyway, thank you John, we'll talk to you later, appreciate you coming by. Alright, we got James in there, James thank you so much, have a nice floating adventure today, let's see if there's anyone else, 949-4, the 9 o'clock net, I'm Jack, KI-7R, if you'd like to join us, come in, call, sign in, team. Kilo Julius 7, Bravo, India hotel, on mobile. Billy, you sound fantastic, buddy, let's get you in right now, go ahead and search, KJ-7BIH. Thank you Jack, on my way to a fighter's workshop, and later today we're going to do another VE session, we only have one candidate, but we have at least VE standing by to do it, maybe we'll get somebody else by 11, because that's when we close down registration. The summer typically means we have far fewer candidates, because everybody has other stuff to do, besides sitting at radio for some reason. Beyond that, trying to figure out the best way to test the new wind link system, to see if we can improve the range, the radio itself is not that sensitive, so we're going to have to have a better antenna, so I'm going to try to wire in the high-attic antenna, I have a gipple in the high-attic that I can hook up to it, before having strung yet another wire up there, which is a PIA, and I'm going to get off the radio because the police are nearby. KJ-7BIH, back to you. Alright, well that basic question, well, you haven't done anything wrong, but I'm not going to have you come back, that's fine, you're a very careful driver, I know that. Alright, sorry, just had to say that. Hey Billy, you be careful out there, yes, do drive safe, and thanks for coming in, and good luck with this system. Alright, getting that all linked up and worked up in your attic there. Alright, and good luck to that one candidate with the VE session, getting their ticket today. Nice job. Alright, well let's find out if there's anyone else current time, 9.51am, anybody else for the 9 o'clock net. Come ahead now, call to find a name.
