7, Bravo Delta Oscar, just an I-O. KM7BDO, thank you for your I-O, appreciate that, have a great week and stay cool, whatever you do. Let's get right back to K3-OE. Rich, I tell you, people are really wondering what the heck you were doing walking around with that big fishing net. Maybe you can explain that for us. Jack, I guess the first thing is, I just had to do something silly. It was just so much fun to do that project. It was fast and simple and it worked. Anyway, of course I had to bring it because I just thought, we're close to the water and all that and I said, yeah, I gotta go fishing for signals. Anyway, and it worked. That's the main thing. Jack, the antenna lab was closed last night. I was so tuckered out that I just was not up to doing anything else last night. Yeah, the lab should be open again this evening. And, Jack, I tell you what, I've never thought about getting my reciprocating saw out and, yeah, whittling down my furniture. Boy, I don't know if I'd be up to that. Back to you, K3-OE. Well, you know, I was thinking about that and some of the goos is, yeah, I got my reciprocating saw and cut up the sectional, the half of it or whatever part that he cut up into eight big pieces. How the heck did they get the thing into the living room? I was kind of wondering that. What about you? Jack, that is always the puzzle. I'll have to admit, there are pieces of furniture in the house here that I kind of wonder how they got in here. So, yeah, that's one of those puzzles of the day. Back to you, K3-OE. Yeah, it's like, and I think this cannot be a unique case. The guy builds his boat in his backyard and then realizes when it's all done, hey, wait, I can't get the boat out of the backyard and they have to bring a big crane in and lift it up over the house. I don't know, maybe they did that with a sectional. Finish the house after they get the sectional in. Anyway, great to see you, Rich, and I hope Polo's okay. Man, I'm not sure who's running who harder, me or him, but that was really fun to go back and forth there in the park with him. We're having a good time. All right, talk to you later, Rich. Let's go talk to Skipper, Skipper Howard, thanks, today. Go ahead, please. Okay, I'm 7-A, I'm Skipper here. Pretty good, just enjoying the nice weather and using a different radio. My ASU-991 quit, so I've got to send it back to the factory. I took my ICOM ID5100 out of my Jeep and now it's in the shack, but it's all good. Hopefully they'll fix it and get it back to me. It should be under warranty. I've had it just less than a year, but it's been a long time. Other than that, just mowed the lawn yesterday. That took about five or six hours and I don't know, it might just stay out of the sun today. Hope everybody has a great day. KM7, AJM, back to Jack. Glad always amazed me when you give us the lawn mowing report, haven't taken half a day to do it. Wow, that's a lot of lawn. Hey, what back is wrong with the 9918? I mean, I don't know if you were able to determine what it was. I mean, it doesn't work, so yeah, send it in. But any idea what caused it? I don't know what caused it. I had on the triple nickel stem plex, I had some reports of a little bit of noise on my signal, but usually on the nets I didn't. So I would second for interference or loose connections on the mic, make sure everything was grounded, nothing in the shack interfering. So I have a feeling the front end of the thing fried the main board. I don't know, but it should be under warranty. If not, I'll find a different radio. Back to you, Jack. KM7, AJM. Alright, well good luck with that. Yeah, let us know the outcome once it comes back into circulation when you're there. Well, and like most of us, hey, you don't have one radio? Oh, this one's not working. Let me grab this one over here. Oh, let me grab DHT, let me grab the one out of the Jeep, you know. So you're always good to go. And you always have EchoLink and All-Star as alternatives as well. Alright, Skipper, well hey, you stay out of the sun today, would you please maybe just take a little day off? How about that? It's okay with me. Let's go talk to Bill, KEG7FWB. Great to see you, Bill. What a great time we had yesterday at Green Lake. How are you? Well, hi, Jack. Just got back from having the sweetest pancakes at Pete's over on 77th, and that was good. Yeah, I just saw all the pictures that were put up, and yeah, it was a fun time seeing everybody. I got there a little after nine, but I had a couple other things I had to do in the afternoon. So fun seeing everybody, fun talking to John there, W-O-I. And playing with the dogs, watching John on a guitar, JSM, seeing how he's progressed. So that was kind of fun. So, looking forward to the next one. Back to you, KEG7FWB. Well, hold on a second there, cowboy. I saw you wielding the Ibanez. What'd you think? Did he have it tuned up right? Of course he did. And did you enjoy that guitar? Uh, yeah, I got a little tuner on there, and he tuned it up, so it was fine. It was hard for me because it's steel strings, and they're real thin, and they cut into my fingers. So the nylons don't. They just kind of, over 67 years, dent in the nerves at the end of your fingers. But it was a nice guitar. I think it was his first one. But it'll be interesting to see some of the other electric guitars in time. Back to you. Alright, Bill. Yeah, I didn't even realize that he had a steel string, or it was spun up with steel strings, okay? Yeah, well if you don't have the calluses, that can be painful. Alright, well you take care of those fingertips, and we'll talk to you soon there, Bill. Great to have you come out yesterday. Well, speaking of great to have you coming out yesterday, I tell you, John, KEG7W, oh, everybody who had never met you were just jumping up and down, going, that's John. Wow, fantastic. And just racing over to talk to you. How are you doing? Nice to have you and Bill, KC5WFH join us at the Rainier Shine Net. How are you? Go ahead, John. Well, good morning, Jack, and good morning to the net. KEG7W, oh, I am Paul's boat. Yeah, that was a wonderful event. You know, I've never belonged to such a wonderful group of people. It's just fascinating to meet old ones and new ones I've never met. It's just a fun day, and ice cream was good. I had a s'mores, ice cream bar, delicious. And the golden guy picked me up an apple fritter, she goes, thank you for that. It was a wonderful afternoon. Boy, when I got home, I was one tuckered puppy. This old Norwegian, he just dropped in his chair here in Little Norway and took a big rest when he got home. But thanks for all you do, Jack, and putting these events on. It was, again, fantastic, and I'm looking forward to the next one already. So, Bill and I both enjoyed it. And that's about it for me. I got a little longer to do today and a bunch of domestic stuff around the house here, so I've got to get moving here pretty quick. Have a wonderful day. Enjoy it. It's going to be a warm KEG7WOI-73. Alright, well once again, John, just fantastic to see you. That just made everybody's day so much fun. Hey, real quick, Bill, he checked in right before you, KEG7FWB, and he mentioned Swedish pancakes, those little powdered sugar delights all rolled up. So, in Norway, do you know if they have Swedish pancakes or do they call them something else, maybe? I don't know.
