My father, Lloyd Brown, worked on all of these dams up here as a heavy duty mechanic. He built a bar with a slalom in it and that would go over your springs and underneath the cross bar. So you put air in the cylinder and then you push down on the spring and the catches come loose and you take them out. You seal that in and put your spring back on and then put the cap back on and then you put that wrench and you push the spring back out. You put your keepers back in and then they walk on. My father wanted to develop that when he was working on the Detroit dam up here. When Dad was gone somewhere one day, he broke the lock off his toolbox and took it and now it's being sold by SMAFON. He lost that on that invention. That's the kind of man my father-in-law was. He was a teacher, that's for doggone sure. Anyway, have a good day everybody. I'm going to get back to my 87MR. I've got one of those same tools myself. I used to do engine work too but I couldn't do it anymore. I've invented all kinds of stuff too. My dad invented all kinds of things, the tools and what have you. We never got anything out of it either. I know exactly what you're talking about there. How they do that. Even at General Motors, some engineers stole some of my suggestions and pre-needed mine by one day or something if they wouldn't come up with that. But anyway, that's life. So there you go.
