a dew drop in and you have one individual that is just making their life visible or the constant talk about one thing constantly again and again and again that just drives the person away that we really highly respect. That's the kind of person I really don't want on the dew drop in. I think you can talk about anything. We can talk about sexuality, we can talk politics, we can talk how you like to bathe and take a poo-poo. I don't really care. It makes it interesting. But when we start chasing members away, then we got to start rethinking what we're doing with the nets. Anyhow, that's what my opinion is. Oh, one other thing. A quick reset. So there were several people that viewed, on the last question, viewed it as a secular thought. You called it a skeptical. You're skeptics. Secular and skeptics is two different words in two different meanings. Yes, I can be skeptical about, you know, my friends told me he's going to do it a thousand times and he never does it. So I'm very skeptical that he'll probably do it now. Secular isn't just a totally different way of thinking. It's not skeptical. It's a matter of fact in their minds. I just want to point that out. Back to jet control. KV0MAI. KV0MAI. This is KC2PKG. That's a good thought. I'm glad you mentioned that. You have to be a little more careful. All right. Next up, Josh. KJ5IRQ. Are there things that you should not say on the Kalabunga net? Or is it just open kimono all the time? This is uh, KK0MAI Josh. KJ5IRQ. This is KC2PKG. Well, KJ5IRQ returning. Thank you, KC2PKG. I uh, I think this is a twofold question. I mean, according to your question, are there things that we shouldn't do a say on Kalabunga net? Well, first off, I think we gotta see what we legally can and can't do on ham radio. So, and I think, you know, we all pass the test. We all should know this, but as a general reminder, you know, the things we can't do is stuff like business use, no advertising sales, communications benefiting a business or employer. Can't do that. Uh, here's a pretty big one that says no profanity or affinity. Now, I'm gonna tell you what most of us say on here is profanity, but I'm not the FCC. I figure if they get on the meet for saying it, that's probably when I'll change. Uh, if I, if I say it, I really try not to cuss on the air these days. Uh, no harassment or threats. That's kind of his closer personal. Here, that's done it. No big FCC right here. No harassment or threats. No bullying, intimidation, or violent threats. No music or protected recordings except incidental or public domain Morse code practice. Uh, no decryption or secret codes. No political campaigning. Since you can't talk about politics, it just says you can't campaign, uh, campaign. So if you decide to run for office, don't use the California to, uh, expand your base. Uh, no broadcasting. Ham radio is for two-way communication, not one-way shows to the public. That was kind of hesitant. You know, I, I, I think what we do on here is a type of broadcasting in my mind, but it's not, but I'll be allowing everybody else to talk and it's not one way. So, uh, I think as long as it's two-way communication, we don't have to worry about that. No false emergencies, no jamming, and no out of band transmissions. Those are like the big kids back in the day. And you who have done radio and TV and stuff are older than I probably know this a lot better than I, but I read a story once long, long time ago that the SEC used to enforce, I guess, seven words, 12 words, I think it was how much you heard, to be honest. I don't think that group of words you can't say on TV. Well, I think we've relaxed out a lot on TV. I mean, every other, every other show has, you know, a word in it that you're not supposed to do. So they're going to enforce it better. Should they enforce it on amateur radio? I don't think so. But I'm also not. Now, as far as the cariboungernet, I think, you know, since the cariboungernet is what it is, a network of radios and nodes that pass through a couple of gateways, I'm going to take a real quick break. The individuals are in control of those repeaters. What's possible for those across there. They're gonna get that. I mean, we all know that. That's where we get, or we should say, Bill and Bill. That's where they get to say, no, we can't have that. They don't like it. They don't get to join us because it feels like they're in trouble. So that's probably more than what you needed to know. But I think it's important every so often to go over do's and don'ts. If I get another chance today, I'll go over the do's. KJ5 IRQ back to KC2 PKG. KJ5 IRQ, I'm really glad I asked this question. Doing some really solid answers. It's great. This is KC2 PKG, and we're gonna pass that question over to AA4 HO. Ron, what are some things that you just shouldn't do on the go? This is KC2 PKG. Over to you, AA4 HO. Yeah, I have a couple of things, but I put up with a lot of stuff because basically, I've had to bring up the worst. And I'm not in charge of this now. And I want to remain, you know, a user in good standing. So I'll be careful with what I say and not make too much of an issue out of stuff that, you know, I don't particularly think that that should be said. You know, for instance, you know, when you're talking about a specific topic, and then somebody will attack that topic with the identity of someone, a leader of a country, you know, because then, you know, it's basically, you couldn't do that in debating because this is what blues automatics means. We're not debating or anything, we're just, you know, having fun and I'm passing the time in the morning. So, you know, it goes that way, it goes that way. It's not going to stop me from coming here. I've been on Reddit before, and I think you might have heard me mention this. I ended up, even though I had some really good stuff there to make issue with the way things are going, and they didn't automatically, I just get that on a trust. I get negative karma, is what they called it on Reddit. And I'm sure that that account, I don't go there anymore, is probably broke a record for the most negative feedback that's ever, I mean, it's like a negative number that, you know, it's a three digit song. So I'm probably banned from posting anything there anyway. So whatever, you know, happens, I'll probably go with it, whatever anybody decides and abide by, even if I don't completely agree with it. AA4HO, this is KC2PKG. Alright, so like that just rolls right off your back. So you weren't saying these are some things that we should not do. I thought the reading from the FCC, I guess that was part 97, talks about harassment and that is something that's an eye of the beholder. Alright, let's go down to N0BF. Steve, if you can still hear us as you roll down the road, are there certain things that we just should not say or do on the CalabungaNet? Which pretty freewheeling group? Oh yeah, subjects of all kinds, but are there some things that we need to stay away from or just not do? It's over to you, N0BF, this is KC2PKG. Alrighty, KC2PKG, N0BF, just leaving Elkhart, Elkhart is in Indiana? Ha, Elkhart, Indiana, that's where they make all the trailers. Anyway, so we're just leaving there toward Chicago. Update on the train. Things not to say, well, yeah, you said part 97 pretty much lays it out, so just to find there, that's where the beginning is and I'm sure that's all been interpreted by laws and whatnot. No music, no commercial business, those kind of things. You know, I still remember that flirting it when I was a kid, 13 years old, 65 years ago. Anyway, so I still try to stick to that and anyway, I also tried to, you know, looking at the negative side, part 97, but on the positive side, what I try to put my efforts in on at radio is to learn about every aspect that I can. Like I do a lot of remote control and I'm doing just, what if anybody out here has an M1KV little setup, it's a microphone with all the kind of digital radio built inside of it, D-Star being one, which I do and I think this might work. Anyway, so that's another question I've got, but anyway, I may do that, I travel so much. Anyway, so a lot of things to talk about, I also focus on the basis of ambient radio being for emergency communication, so I always try to learn whenever I can. To that end, back to that, ends your OPM. All right, all right, another champion for part 97, that's good, that's good. PM1X, it was during your net of all nets that I went through all those feelings. What do you think, what shouldn't you say? Captain, this is KC2PPG, how about you PM1X?
