I just keep it on my desk, plug the radio, the cable from the charger, right into the bottom of the radio. Then you know it's got a good connection. So I had the same thing. I put mine in the charger, it didn't charge overnight. That was like what the heck. And there was a little snug, so I just haven't used the sense.
