If you're a distance away from repeaters and stuff like that, they don't use a single cell phone carrier. They actually roam on all of them. And it's pretty much global. It supports Canada, Mexico, and the United States, plus 34 more countries on top of that that you can just take these radios right out of your pocket, turn it on, and boom, you're on the network. And they're extremely cool. I live in Newfoundland, like you say. And there's spaces we don't get good cell phone service. But where these radios roam on all the networks, they always come up with a usable signal. So I've been really loving it. And like you say, the prices are very reasonable, considering what you get. They've got a bunch of different HTs. They've got mobile slash base units.
