Yeah, it was definitely connected to both there for a couple minutes, but yeah, the connection should have been dropped, like, like, I command to disconnect, like I said, a few minutes ago. Yeah, it's dropped now then. If you're not seeing it on your list, that's something you want to be very, very mindful of that, not to connect any other stations while you're connected to us, because when we got dropped earlier, it was due to noise, and when Ebit tried to reconnect us direct to SE Link, he wasn't able to because there was a loop, and that loop is caused if stations already connected, and then we try to bring up another link to the same station, it causes a loop and causes a bunch of noise. There was another station on our system who was actually generating the noise that they thought was coming from you because you were connected to them, then connected to us, and then the noisy station came from another station from St. Kitts that was connected to us. This stuff is really complicated, man. Just be very mindful, if a net ever drops or anything like that, just let either the net control on their side or on their side handle it rather than link up to, like, the previous connected station, because if we try to reconnect, then that's going to cause issues. I didn't know it was happening myself until I looked at the bubble chart, and it showed a link from us to you to SE Link. So just in the future, if something drops, just leave it dropped. Yeah, that makes sense. Sorry about that. I wasn't trying to mess anything up there. I was just in contact with the gentleman that runs that reflector, SE Link, into Chattanooga and Georgia and places like that. We bring those guys in on Sundays through an auto-connect, and if they notice that our station is dropped for some reason, they'll try to reconnect us, but he wasn't able to do it, and he couldn't figure out why, and it was because you were connected to us already, and he couldn't drop it. It's all learning experience, man. No big deal. I'm glad I was able to get you on voice just so I didn't have to go through an email, the email process there. So I'm glad I was able to get you on the air. VL1, UKZ. Yeah, most of the time now I'm sitting around monitoring whatever I am linked to anything, really. I do let the do drop in link kind of hang out, but if I link to anything else, I'm usually sitting here. Just because I'm not 100% confident with this system yet. KK7, NQN. Yeah, that's always a good idea to monitor any time you're connected to anything. I know I leave my stuff connected to do drop in 24-7, but I've got it disabled, so no other stations can connect to my repeater. That way I know I've only one supermodel to look at if there's an issue that comes from my dash L on Echo Link, that I've only got one supermodel to look at as opposed to a station connected to my repeater, and then connected to do drop in. It just makes it a lot easier. That's what I recommend to a lot of people. If you want to leave a link connected to do drop in permanently, like 24-7, then make it so that no one can inbound to that link. That can be done, I think, in the repeat.conf file. I do believe it's the one, I don't know, 100% off the top of my head, but there is a way to restrict it. I just restrict it through a port. I just close the inbound port, and then nobody can connect. It just hangs if they try. There is a way to do it in the configuration files as well. Just like you say, you just never know when a noisy station is going to connect to you, and then you end up getting the blame for it because it's your callsign that lights up every time they key up. Yeah, I actually just registered a dash L link number for that, and the search I've met up today, I just haven't actually put it into play yet because I haven't fully tested it yet. But, yeah, I know what you're saying there, and that's exactly what I was trying to set up today, I just haven't finished it yet. All good, man. Sounds good. I'm going to take off for the night. I'm going to be up for a net, I'm going to participate in a net, tomorrow morning, bright and early. It's a crazy net on Mondays, I always like to participate in that one, so I'm going to go get some sleep, and I'll chat with you later, man. 7-3, take your 7-NQN, V01UP.
