for the first game of the game. We'll be back on the same radio. ...minute. I'll beat you to it, because I was going to tell you that... ...after 40, a lot of times... ...you get that... No, I'm not sure if it counts. Back to Solar Cycle 21, I think it is. We're in 25 now. I worked a really nice guy. Myself, E7WF. I worked, I was on 10 meters. It was absolute phenomenal conditions. I call CQ and I un-Q my mic... ...and I hear myself and my speaker calling CQ. I did it again, and I came back to myself again... ...or heard myself again. So I said a few things, like 5959... ...and I keyed the mic and there it was again. So what happened was, the conditions were just so good... ...my signal was traveling around the world... ...and I was hearing myself moments later. So I don't know if that counts or not, because I didn't QSL. Back to net. You still can, the Bureau will salute you. Absolutely. What was that, Scott? He can still QSL himself. There's no time limit. The Bureau's open. You looked at the cost of postage. Yeah, now can you get the card to go all the way around the world? And back to you. Hey, that's very cool. Long delay echoes are fascinating. I'm not sure if that's the same thing as, you know, just... ...around the Earth once, like that. But long delay echoes are pretty neat. I've only experienced it once and it was on 80 meters... ...so I have no idea where my signal was coming back from... ...or bouncing off of. I don't know if it was... ...it might have been someone playing a prank on me, recording me. And for anyone interested, look up HF long delay echoes. It's quite a... ...quite a phenomenon. Alright, so... ...around the world and back to yourself. That's Dean. Thanks for joining us. Gotta get moving here. All these people in Manitoba. Picture Echo 4, Juliet, Charlie, Juliet... ...welcome to the Trans-Canada Netflix. What's the furthest you've talked to or reached in the hobby? Good afternoon, good evening to everyone on net. One of the first times I think I've gone into Trans-Canada net... ...so it's listening to the folks, it's a lot of fun. In any event, in answer to the question... ...on HF, New Zealand and South Africa... ...have been the furthest and out east, if you will, Poland. And on 10 meters this past winter... ...it's been really quite fun all over... ...far Europe and Scandinavia... ...and obviously South America as well. So it's been quite enjoyable but this... ...somewhere on my gap tightening vertical... ...has been quite limited high line. Yeah, band conditions have not been that great for a while. I don't know what happened to the peak of the cycle... ...but thanks for joining us. And yeah, definitely New Zealand, South Africa, etc... ...have come up a few times so far. And glad you found this net. We're here each Sunday at 1pm Eastern, starting at 1pm. We go to about 2.30. And more information at thecanadahub.ca. Moving on to Mike, Victory Akey One, Mike Golf Sierra. Hope you're doing well Mike. And what's the furthest you've reached?
