So it wasn't really clear why one would choose one over the other, but I think that was the big plus for a lot of people is just having something where they could just point their browser to Hamclock rather than maintaining their server. For me, the maintaining server was no biggie. Over the course of the past couple of years, I had to reformat an SD card once and when it failed and then another when the originator passed. After that point, I just had to go in there and use command prompts to point it to a new server. But other than that, it's been very trouble-free. But yeah, like you said, it's one last piece.
